LPG gas safety tips

LP gas (Liqufied Petroleum gas) is a highly flammable gas and is dangerous if not used safely. At Daly Cylinder, we strive to help you to understand how to safely use LP gas and minimise the risk of accidents that may be caused by misuse of the gas.
GENERAL SAFETY TIPS
LPG is odorless. A stench agent is added to allow detection of leaks
LPG will cause natural rubber and some plastics to deteriorate. Only use approved or certified hoses and connections designed for gas – never use home-made ones.
LPG is highly flammable. It must be stored in well ventilated areas away from sources of ignition.
LPG is nontoxic, however it has an anesthetic effect when mixed with air in high concentrations. The greater the concentration, the greater the risk of suffocation as available oxygen declines
